We had the good fortune of connecting with Vicky Dalli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vicky, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
That in order to be a good actor,you must be very intelligent.For some reason some people underestimate an artist’s intelligence,let’s say comparing to a scientist’s.I actually believe that about almost everything…You have to be clever to be great at something.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
It is never easy. I have the mindset that failure is not an option. I shut down all the noise and I call it a distraction. I am proud for keep going, for not being a coward, for remaining in my core the exact same person I used to be before everything started. I would like the world to know that behind the sexiness or the light and fun personality, there is a humble humane person who would only show you her teeth if you challenge her by underestimating and offending her.I never start the fight, but if you do, I won’t let you win.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s easy!First we take the touristic route:Walk of fame,hollywood sign,Santa Monica pier,Venice and then night life of sunset blvd,a little downtown for the rooftops and Beverly Hills bcz it’s a very well known to Greeks neighborhood.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends who are my biggest supporters and of course every teacher,director,writer and producer who believed in me and chose me.
